What to Expect

Worship Service

What might you expect when you visit with us? You will see that our assemblies are really rather simple. You will see that we sing and pray together, and that we study God’s Word through preaching and teaching (Acts 2:42; 20:7; Colossians 3:16). On the first day of every week, we also remember the Lord’s death as we partake of the Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:17-34; cf. Acts 20:7). We also take up a collection from among our members, who voluntarily give back to God a part of what He has blessed us with, in order to continue the Lord’s work here in this place (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). If you choose to visit with us, we want to encourage you to examine everything we do in light of God’s word, and we welcome any and all of your Bible questions.

Bible Classes

Summer 2025

Every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening we have Bible classes for the following age groups: Adult (post high school); Teenage Boys (grades 6-10); Teenage Girls (grades 6-10); and Primary (grades 3-5).

Adult Class

We strive to use our Bible study periods as opportunities to challenge one another, grow in our understanding of God’s word and find relevant applications of His word to our daily lives. Each class period is directed by one of our members, but all who attend are encouraged to participate in and contribute to the study.

Currently we are studying through a workbook entitled “Finding My Faith” by Kevin Harrington. This is a practical study aimed at helping us each develop faith in Jesus Christ that is personal, genuine, and capable of enduring the challenges of life. We begin by diggin into to “Understanding My Faith” and then make some application in “Using My Faith.”

If you plan to join and would like to know the current discussion topic, please contact us and we’ll be happy to get that information to you.

Teenage Boys Class

Over the summer the boys will be having a series of “Campfire Conversations.” This is not your typical Bible Class, but is intended to be more of an informal discussion of topics that are relevant and on the hearts and minds of young men who love God while growing up in the midst of a culture that may not value spiritual things as much.

Over the course of our time together, these young men will be challenged to think critically, investigate thoroughly, and share what they’ve learned with others.

Teenage Girl Class

This summer in the teen girl Bible class we are focusing on forming a true connection with Jesus through the choices we make daily. Our prayer is to help the girls make practical and biblical choices that matter on their journey to adulthood. We have created a very open concept classroom that incorporates function and fun while making it easy to relax and talk about that things that really matter…Jesus and His will for us!

Primary Class

God’s Big Plan – Through teh Bible with Young Children. These lessons focus on God’s plan for a relationship with us. Each lesson illustrates a theme such as God’s love, God’s authority, the meaning of obedience, God’s power, and the happiness of having a good relationship with God.
